WELCOME TO THE INFINIGODS UNIVERSE (IGU)

InfiniGods is a gaming studio that's building a suite of fun, free to play Web3-powered games centered around ancient mythologies. Developed by veterans in the mobile and Web3 gaming space, InfiniGods has the goal of making fun games enhanced by blockchain technologies.

The company was founded in 2021 and raised a seed round of $9M led by Pantera Capital and joined by Framework Ventures and Animoca Brands.

Our team has worked at major gaming companies such as Facebook (Meta), EA, LucasArts, Scopely, Zynga, Microsoft, & DGN Games. We passionately believe that blockchain technology can solve many problems that Free to Play games faced in Web2. In particular, we believe giving players ownership over their in-game assets can create a much better consumer experience.

Our games are focused on being cross platform (web & mobile), free to play, and most importantly: fun! Our ambition is that by making fun, easy to play games we can onboard millions of new players into Web3 gaming.

The Founders' Journey

InfiniGods was founded by gaming industry veterans, Damon Gura, CEO, and Owen O’Donoghue, CRO, both with decades of experience in the social & mobile gaming space. Damon founded DGN Games in 2014 and scaled its business to over 14 million players and $100M+ in revenue, which was eventually sold to Crown Gaming. Owen spent 11 years at Facebook building their social and mobile gaming business, which scaled and monetized games like Candy Crush & Farmville.

Damon and Owen noticed Web3 gaming posed a lot of challenges: the barrier to entry was high, projects were prioritizing games as a financial product, and simply, the games were not fun.

Enter InfiniGods. Through the continued development of its suite of games, InfiniGods aims to solve these challenges by creating games that are fun for everyone to play — whether you’re a casual gamer with no crypto experience or an NFT collector. By unlocking the true potential of blockchain technology, players will be able to earn and own valuable in-game rewards that are interoperable across games in the InfiniGods Universe.
